Additionally, using recycled steel lessens pollution by up to 90%. Consuming less energy typically results in lower greenhouse gas emissions that trap heat within the atmosphere and warm the earth. By offering your metal objects for recycling, you're supporting the recycling process and are thus doing your bit for the environment.

While wood and stone are organic products that come directly from nature, metals result from processing raw minerals and other elements from the earth.
